We are open from 10 AM until 4 PM Wednesday through Saturday and other hours by appointment. The art center is open for the second Friday reception every month until 10 PM.

Award Ceremony at 7:30 pm
Juror is Everett Butler: He has a BFA from RPI/VCU, a Masters in Education at VCU and worked in Chesterfield County schools for 31 years teaching art, photography and humanities. He was also in the Bi-Annual five times.
This will be our last opening till the summer of 2014. The art center has been presented with a great opportunity. Plans are being developed for a complete building renovation.
The plans include approximately 75 upgraded studios, artist displays, event hall, and 45 apartments. The renovations are planned to start Aug. 1st, 2013 and will about 10 months.
We are very excited about this opportunity and hope you are too!!
EVERYTHING MUST GO!
We will be having a HUGE SALE in the Mezzanine Gallery as well as throughout the building. EVERYTHING MUST GO!! we will be selling One-Of-A-Kind art as low as $5! We will also have art supplies, tables, chairs, and miscellaneous items all for sale.
Zack Artis will be playing guitar in the Main Gallery and complementary food and drinks will be provided.

The arrow points to the Petersburg Regional Art Center building. The building was built in 1858 and it was formerly a department store and a furniture store before becoming the art center. It has four floors and a basement. Three floors and the basement have studios. There are two large art galleries. Openings are the second Friday of each month. There are directions on this page.
